Sarah Wayne Callies is Lori Grimes

According to Entertainment Weekly, Sarah Wayne Callies of Prison Break fame has been tapped to play Lori Grimes in The Walking Dead.  The cast is starting to come together with Andrew Lincoln playing Rick Grimes, Jon Berthal as Shane Walsh, and Jeffrey DeMunn as an undisclosed character.

Filming of the pilot episode begins on May 15, 2010 with the series premiere scheduled for October.
