Linds Edwards was born on January 15, 1985 in Tampa, Florida as the only child of Bruce Edwards and Kathi Trivette. As an only child, he quickly developed an imagination and ability to entertain himself. He used this ability to act out scenes from his favorite movies. His parents saw his creativity and encouraged him to pursue entertaining others as well as himself.
Linds’ family moved to Knoxville, Tennessee in 1994 when he was 10 years old. He played a key role in a church production, which was his first involvement with professional actors. Linds was cast in several high school plays, many of which he opted out of and instead chose to independently pursue other venues of creativity. After he graduated from high school, he landed several key roles in productions at the Oak Ridge Playhouse. After 2 years with the Playhouse, a fellow actress introduced Linds to Brooks Benjamin, who directed Linds’s first feature film debut in the award-winning horror film Point of Fear (2006). Linds’s next project was with Knoxville’s well-respected director Scott W. Lee, who worked with Linds on the short film “Static” (2007). After completing another string of short films including “Dreams of August” and “Righting His Story,” Linds landed a role in another feature film, the The Boys of Summerville, in 2007. This heart-warming comedy was Linds’s second time working with director Brooks Benjamin. Since then, Linds has completed shooting a short titled “In a Blink” by Dusty Clark.
Last year Linds filmed the movies Get Low with Robert Duvall, Sissy Spacek, and Bill Murray and Black, White and Blues with Michael Clarke Duncan. He is currently working on the TV series Tough Trade with Sam Shepard. At 25 years old, Linds is expanding his career in various genres of film and exploring his abilities with different character types and emotions.
