Gears of War 1 & 2 Composer Wants To Do The Walking Dead

I was on twitter today looking at the #thewalkingdead trending topic when I came across a tweet saying “lil pitch i did for hopes of being considered for composer for the AMC series #TheWalkingDead =)”, so I clicked on the link and thought it would be some complete amateur with an acoustic guitar wasting a few minutes of my time. What I got was something completely different and I was quite blown away by what I heard. The person that made the piece is Kevin Riepl, a musical composer which scored the music for popular video games like Gears of War 1 & 2 and Dreamwork’s Shrek 2. I personally don’t know how to word what I want to say about the demo that Riepl sent into AMC, all I know is that I support him.  I’ll let you judge it for yourself and hopefully you will support him too!
