Melissa Suzanne Mcbride to Play Carol

According to IMDB’s cast page for Episode 3 of The Walking Dead, Melissa Suzanne Mcbride has been cast to play Sophia’s mother Carol.  Carol was one of the Atlanta survivors that Rick meets in the comic.  Casting for Carol’s daughter, Sophia, has still not been announced.

Melissa is best known for her work in The Mist, Pirates of Silicon Valley, and Matlock.
