Newsarama got a chance to catch up with The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman recently and talk to him about both the comic book and the live action TV show. In the interview we find out that we’ll be getting a fully colored issue, the conflict in the Safe-Zone and of course, the TV show. The fully colored issue isn’t going to be a part of the continuity. Kirkman also told them that he has a pretty rough outline for The Walking Dead comics to make it all the way to issue #150, which is pretty far away in the terms of comic books. Here’s a small bit regarding Hollywood wanting in on the comic:
Nrama: I’ve held off as long as I could – lets jump into talking about The Walking Dead television series. First off, how early on were people sniffing around the comic from Hollywood?
Kirkman: It was pretty early on. The first time we got interest was around the seventh or eighth issue. It was before the crew had even reached the prison that people were inquiring.
