Emma Bell Interview

Comic Book Resource had a chance to interview Emma Bell who will be playing Amy in The Walking Dead. Emma explains that working on Frozen was much like The Walking Dead in the fact that they are both story driven dramas. She also says that she wasn’t aware of the comic book series but was amazed by the script.

Emma goes on to talk about her character Amy and how her storyline will be similar to that in the comic book. She will be travelling with her sister Andrea (played by Lorie Holden) and will meet up with Dale who is played by Jeffrey Demunn. She goes on to talk about Jeffrey Demunn and what a pleasure it is to work with him.

“He’s amazing. I’ve actually nicknamed him Gandalf on set, because he sits there and he’s so strong and calm, even as zombies are running past. He’ll have this anecdote of wisdom and it’s just like, ah, where is your staff? [Laughs]”

Emma speaks about how creepy the zombies are and that even though they are constantly around, she still gets creeped out by them. She also says that the level of violence int he show is actually needed and not being used for the sheer shock factor.
