A few weeks ago AMC released the official Walking Dead trailer, and it took the internet by storm. Every website – that I’ve been t0 – has given the trailer nothing but positive feedback, fueling the rumor that AMC had already gave them the go ahead on a second season. Today AMC decided to give us three little clips from The Walking Dead, and trust me, when I say little, I mean little. The longest clip is a minute five seconds. Hey, I’m not complaining! Check out the three clips below:
Rick’s Gun:
Hospital Corridor:
Darkness
All three of those videos are simply just awesome. I really enjoy the one with Rick waking up the most, I really love the expression on his face when he comes up to the door with “don’t open, dead inside” on it. I seriously cannot wait for Halloween.

You don’t mind if I just use up all of your allotted server bandwidth playing those vids over and over, do you? The walker moans in each of those clips gives me chills. I’m now convinced that people are going to poop their pants when they see this show. Heck, I’m gonna soil mine and I’ve read the series. I’ve been quite evangelical as of late making as many people as possible aware of the premiere. I’m the only one who has read the story, so I (kinda) know what to expect. My friends and acquaintances that will tune in? They have no idea what’s going to hit them. I predict a national nightmare pandemic. Good times.
Gotta agree with Jason, this looks truly scary, which is awesome. Lately zombie stuff (Zombieland, Left 4 Dead) just hasn’t been genuinely frightening. This on the other hand, is gonna change what we expect from zombie media for sure.
Play it as much as you want guys. The files are actually hosted on AMC, they allow websites to embed their code.
I agree, this show is going to be give people nightmares.
Well, zombieland is supposed to be a comedy, and left 4 dead is supposed to be an all out shoot em up.
Everything they’ve shown so far looks and feels unbelievable, and for someone who has also read the entire series up to the current issue, I think they are nailing the vibe and eerie tone perfectly.
Look at the havoc that ensued in that hospital, wow. Wires, lighting, and insulation pulled down from the ceiling, the floor littered with garbage (and shell casings I hear?), can’t wait I’m about to pop!

I actually do have a gravatar account associated with this email address, not quite sure what’s going on but no big deal.
If anyone is interested, Dread Central has part IV up of their set visit with some nice info regarding where the first episode ends and how many zombies are in episode (hint: lots).
