About StillBorn of Baltimore (Courtesy of their website)
stillborn is a straight ahead rock n roll band from baltimore, with severe old-school punk rock influences. to draw comparisons of their music to the likes of the Misfits, Black Flag or the Ramones wouldn’t necessarilly insult them. in april 2010 stillborn released the long awaited cd “Rise Again” marking their return to prominence in the mid-atlantic area. “Rise Again” is the 4th proper release from stillborn. in 2002 stillborn released their first 7-song cd “Unsuccessful from the Beginning” to rave reviews throughout the MD punk community. in 2004 a second 4-song cd “Embrace your Apathy” and “Stillborn Monster Babies” a cd collection of Misfits cover songs were also released. throughout, stillborn has continued to log numerous hours onstage wreaking havoc on one club after another, leaving terrified onlookers in its wake. if you’ve heard enough and you’re ready for the house band of the apocalypse, then step inside.

When do u guys normally record these? Like was this recorded the day before it was released?
Honestly, for the past month it has been a bit inconsistent due to changes in our lives. (Irwin moving) Typically, we try to release within a couple days after recording a news based podcast. With the Volume recaps we have the luxury of waiting a few days because timeliness doesn’t really matter.
For example, Episode 16 was recorded last Saturday. Yes, there was heavy editing done. However, even with that we could have pushed it out much sooner then we did. We like giving an episode a good week of being the latest episode.
In the future, when the show starts, we plan to record the night of the show. Then, we release it the next day on a Monday. We are also discussing about doing a second show in the week. However, that isn’t quite set in stone yet. We’ll keep everyone posted on our release dates when the TV show actually begins.
