Comicus Interviews Madison Lintz

Walking Dead news is pretty slow as of late, so any news is a good thing. Today while browsing The Walking Dead thread over on Superhero Hype! I noticed that a user has updated the thread with an interview he had with Walking Dead actress Madison Lintz, who plays Sophia in The Walking Dead. Sophia is the daughter of Carol, who lives amongst the Atlanta survivors along with Shane, Amy, Andrea, Dale, Carl and Lori – many more additional cast members have been added to the camp for the TV show.

Thanks to Comicus, we’re getting a nice little interview with Madison, which you can read a piece of below:

Q:Your character share, in the comic book, a great relationship with Carl Grimes, played by Chandler Riggs. Can you talk us about how this friendship has Been interpreted in the tv-series?

Right now, A: Carl and Sophia are thrown together in an unlikely friendship. They are portrayed as two children who seek to each other out among the band of survivors who are mainly adults. Hopefully, you’ll see more of this friendship Develop in the future!

I actually really like that this question was asked. The Sophia and Carl friendship is probably one of the better parts of the book for me, and from what Sarah Wayne Callies said about Chandler Riggs’ playing Carl is absolutely amazing. I hope Lintz can pull off a great Sophia, even though truthfully not that important of a character for the longest time.
