This goes out to all our UK readers/listeners. We here at The Walking Dead Podcast are helping to promote a zombie walk charity event for the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance. The event is being planned by our friend Clare Plumbley who has a close connection to the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance.
“I really hope all the Zombies of Rugby will come out on the day to help support the Air Ambulance – an organisation very close to my heart after helping my father following a serious bike accident 11 years ago. We want this to be a fun event and hope as many people as possible will come along to support us”.
The Event is on October 31, 2010 at 3:00PM and will start at Lawrence Sheriff School to the Rugby Clock Tower. Registration will cost just £2.00 per person or £6.50 for a family of 4 to enter and includes an after event party and buffet at Walkabout where children are allowed to stay until 5.00 pm.
There will also be Prizes and Raffles!
To find out more information about the event or to Register please visit our Zombiethon! 2010 page here at The Walking Dead Podcast.
About Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance:
Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance (WNAA) was established in 2003 and exists to provide a HEMS (Helicopter Emergency Medical Service) to the counties of Warwickshire, Northamptonshire and the Milton Keynes area. Our service does not simply transport patients to the nearest hospital. Our service routinely carries senior Doctors and Consultants to the scene of incidents in just minutes, providing lifesaving treatment and medication at the scene and en-route to hospital. Our Air Ambulance takes the hospital to the patient, providing the best possible chance of a full recovery
