AMC has posted a five minute video where Frank Darabont, Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurde and the cast discuss what makes The Walking Dead so special. They talk about how it’s a survival story where the real interest is in the human elements and not the zombies. Robert says that The Walking Dead will appeal to the horror fans because of the zombies but the human drama will appeal to the general public.
Just to warn everyone. There is a ton of new footage that has not been seen before. We get a good look at the Atlanta camp, Bicycle Girl, Morgan’s house, and a bunch of other things. If you don’t want to be spoiled then I suggest you do not watch this video. Otherwise, it is mind blowing for fans of the comic to see the way they interpreted scenes and the settings.
