What/Why: Things From Another World (TFAW) brings you “The Walking Dead”. The special 90-minute series premiere of “The Walking Dead” will air, for free, at McMenamin’s Bagdad Theater and will be hosted by Portland’s own Cort & Bobby “Fatboy” Roberts. The talk show duo are no strangers to taking a TV series and turning it into an event, having previously transformed SE Portland into a giant living room with public screenings of both the final seasons of “Battlestar Galactica” and “LOST”, featuring live appearances by contributing writers and actors.
Comics and graphic novels will be available for sale before and after the screening, and many great prizes will be given away during the event, provided by Image Comics and Things From Another World. Prizes will also be awarded for the best “Walking Dead”-related costume.
