Enough with your jabbering already. No wonder your podcast is sooooo long and boring. You talk about yourselves too much. You guys must like the sound of your own voice. Talk about the show already, stop talking about yourselves.

I don’t know what show you’re listening to. it was only 9 minutes before we got into the show. We had great contests to let everyone know about and less then 5 minutes of introducing ourselves and the podcast.

We spent 90% of the podcast talking about the show and the comic.

If you find us so boring and full of ourselves then I suggest that this podcast may not be for you. I can tell you this though, nobody gets as deep into the show as we do, and I truly believe we have the BEST show out there.

way to rip off the lost podcast, hope it does as good for you as it did for Jay and Jack

If we were half as good as Jay and Jack I’d be happy. They have an awesome podcast that is well structured and concise. While I do admit that we use their template to a degree, we also use our sister podcast’s template (The 2bit lostcast) where they spend an entire podcast going over one episode and interjecting their thoughts.

Why reinvent the wheel? Also, have you listened to the other Walking Dead Podcasts? They are doing the exact same thing.

BTW, can we actually talk about the tv show and not just the podcast?

I am sorry Josh but this is one of the most boring shows I have heard all year long and I have listened to hundreds of podcasts. The show deserves better and I would actually recommend you guys listen to another show on Sound On Sight that I recently discovered that is also reviewing the Walking Dead instead.
I will give you credit for creating an amazing website and having a pretty awesome contest but perhaps you should find someone else to host.

Well, I’m sorry you feel that way. We have hundreds of people that do enjoy our podcasts and while I’ll admit it was a bit long winded, I don’t understand why you feel you need to go on somebody’s podcast to tell them they are boring. If you don’t like the podcast then don’t listen.

This thread is suppose to be about talking about the show, but I see it has degraded to a bunch of people that just want to put down other people.

I’ve listened to other podcasts before that covered the show and this is BY FAR THE BEST podcast out there. This podcast has all the up to date news on The Walking Dead. The recaps of the comic and show are so insightful and entertaining. It makes my commute 100x more enjoyable.

This podcast wouldn’t receive as much success or high ratings on itunes if they were boring or unoriginal.

These guys who commented sound like complete douchebags. If you don’t like the podcast then don’t listen. Don’t be an asshole without giving it a chance. It sounds like these guys need to finally move out of their mom’s basement and learn to have a REAL opinion.

BTW I thought the pilot episode was so powerful. Darabont and Kirkman’s work brilliantly shined through. It gives me high hope for a successful series. AMC really pulled out the big guns on this one.

Anyway, back to my question :]

There is a lot of death that occurs in the comic, do you think the show will stay true in regard to those character deaths?
I think the deaths that happen in the comic play a pivotal in character development. I was wondering if you think the show will follow suit or take an alternative route. If they decide to take the latter, how do you think it will affect character development?
