Although I enjoyed watching the first episode of the show, when the second episode came on I was extremely disappointed with one of the racist character use of the N word. I do believe that many people still use that word, I didn’t care for that. Can’t you just not remind a black person that there not a N all the time. I’m not even black but I was offended! I would like to continue enjoying the show, please do not write that into the script because my viewership will have to cease. The show already has enough violence, let’s leave the race out of it.
While I can understand where you are coming from, I think it’s an imporant commentary on society. First off, the show takes place in the south and just because there are zombies doesn’t mean that people’s biases are suddenly gone.
I’m not being confrontational, I just think you should know that the series only gets darker and much more shocking from here. If the comic is any indication, you may not be interested in what is to come. And really, this show isn’t going to be everyone’s cup of tea.
Guys you have made me the happiest walking dead fan with your podcast. I found it on itunes and have been hooked on the show i love the way you guys analize each scene from the show and give a honest opinion and feedback on whats going on and you don’t spoil anything for the newbies. I am a long term walking dead comic fan and now the tv series, i have added your podcast to the must listen weekly to my list of all things walking dead. I loved the third episode by the way and can’t wait to hear you guys opinion on the show.
