I loved Dale using a hunting rifle and high power scope to shoot zombies at close range. With that scope all you see at close range is a blur. He would have been better swinging it around over his head like Conan and bashing some Z skulls. I guess he could have been just pointing and aiming down the length of the barrel, but still, he probably didn't hit shit.
