Frank Darabont Considering Dismissing Writers For Season 2 of The Walking Dead

Posted by Khoa Nguyen on Nov 30, 2010 in The Walking Dead News | 0 comments

According to reports by Deadline.com, Frank Darabont is considering letting go of his writing staff for the second season of The Walking Dead. This would also include executive producer/writer Charles Eglee who worked with Darabont on The Shield. Eglee also has a connection to executive producer Gale Anne Hurd through his work with James Cameron on the short lived series Dark Angel. Anne Hurd herself has worked with Cameron in the past on blockbusters such as Terminator 1-2, Aliens, and the Abyss. Darabont seems intent on following the model of BBC show Tourchwood which employs a freelance staff of writers.
