Glen Mazzara Joins The Walking Dead
According to Deadline, Glen Mazzara has joined The Walking Dead as part of the new writing staff. He will take over as the no. 2 man to Frank Darabont and is given the title writing executive producer. The rumors of season two being done by freelance writers has turned out to be false. Glen is currently putting together a team of about five writers to take on the full duties. Joining the writing team for at least one episode will be Robert Kirkman himself. Glen does have experience on writing for the show as he was hired for season one as a freelance writer. Glen Mazzara has written for Starz’s “Crash” and a season of Hawthorne.
