Robert Kirkman has recently confirmed that The Governor will not be appearing in Season 2 of The Walking Dead, “[There's] zero percent chance in the second season
,” he said, however he did say that the charachter might be appearing in a later season, “[In the] third season, 92 percent.” He also said that Michonne and Tyrese won’t be appearing in the Second Season either for reasons he did not state.
However, Kirkman appeared to be excited when Morgan and his son were mentioned, “We’re just dying to get (Lennie James) back in the show. He’s such a great actor!” And although Morgan and his son don’t appear till much later, Kirkman has stated that he would like both Lennie James and Adrian Kali Turner back as soon as possible.
No Tyrese? Meh.
Yeah, kind of a bummer. But hey at least they’ll be able to expand on the established characters before they get to other characters such as Tyrese, Michonne, or The Governor.

The dude who cut off his own hand would have been amazing for Aberham, or however you spell that.
Josh a, as a comic book enthusiast, I don’t understand why everyone always feels that an adaptation has to be done to the letter. is there any particular reason you feel like you have to see the exact same story over and over again?
o langley, alot of fans have wanted to see what a tv verstion of the governor whould be like, if he wasnt included it’d of skipped a massive event in the whole story.. and yes we do want to see the same story mostly.. thats what a adaption is there for..
[...] In very sad, completely bummer news, I came across this link, which confirms Season Two will not include Michonne, Tyrese, or The Governor. That sucks. Like [...]
