I haven’t posted in a while, I mostly post news regarding the filming of the AMC series. So it’s fun to be posting again, because we have our first casting call news for zombies on season 2!

We are starting casting for some featured zombie types — looking for men and women 18 – 60 — VERY slim builds ONLY some acting or movement experience is great – we will be posting for other roles soon but for now only very slim types and slim facial features for very specific roles, must be available to work on southside of Atlanta — email clear recent face shot and body shot to: twdextras@gmail.com
So if you didn’t get a chance to be a zombie last season, or you want to be a zombie again? Here’s your chance. Good luck to everyone who’s trying out, and feel free to email us some “secret on-set pics”

Hey this is Darius Wilcher putting my interest in the walking dead in public. Ive sent a photo of myself and all of the other information you asked me for, but i think the only thing i didnt get the part is becuase i am turning eighteen in september of this this year. I was wondering if i still had a chance to be cast in the show?
Love the series! Have many years experience as a scare actress at Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights. Got inspired by Greg Nicotero at Orlando’s Mayhem where I worked at the convention. This casting call is discriminatory against big-boned people. Do you really think that all zombies would look like supermodels? This is just another example of Hollywood pushing its unattainable body images onto our impressionable youth.

They’re looking strictly for thin builds at the moment. Don’t just assume they won’t be calling for larger builds soon enough. It may just be scene specific.

I am 5’7″ 32 years old, about 210 but not really fat more of a stocky built. Hispanic with green eyes not that it would matter being that walkers have grayish eyes. I love The Walking Dead. One of the best shows in a long time. I am a Firefighter/EMT which would be cool but I would be willing to do anything. It’s been a long time dream to be on a show or movie like this.
