Michael Rooker Talks About Season 2 And Merle

Posted by Dane on Jun 5, 2011 in The Walking Dead News | 0 comments

Fangoria.com got a brief chance to talk to Michael Rooker about Merle and Season 2 while he and the other cast members of the upcoming movie “Cell 213″ sat down for some press interviews.  According to Fangoria.com, Rooker confirmed that his character Merle WILL return although he couldn’t elaborate on when, where, or what he will be doing:

“It’s just that we don’t know when yet,” Rooker says, then smiles. “And, I’m not allowed to say.”

Rooker was also asked about Merle’s ambigous end in Season One:

“It’s not really an ambiguous end. It’s an ambiguous beginning.”

And finally when asked about the supposed budget cuts for Season Two, Rooker joked that instead of making $5 an episode he will be making $2 an episode:

“That’s right, (the cuts are) all in my salary. Instead of making $5 per episode, I’m going to $2!”
