New Shooting Locations for Season 2 have been revealed. The first is from thecitizen.com who has reported that the Cowetta County Commission has approved a request from Stalwart Films LLC to film in the Sharpsburg, Senoia, Newnan, and several unincorporated parts of Cowetta County. Filming in these areas began on June 6th and will continue till November 11th.
The second is from times-herald.com who has reported that the Newnan City Council has approved a request for production to film at Newnan High School and the surrounding campus including the gymansium which was the most recent request from the production for Season 2. According to Michael Riley, the location manager, preparations (building the set, setting up the production tents, etc…) to start filming at Newnan High School will begin on July 1st and the actual filming at the school will take place on July 7-8, and July 11-12.
And Now The MINOR SPOILER:
Michael Riley also said that, in the scene at the school, the survivors run into a horde of zombies at the school which will be staged to look like an abandoned FEMA camp. Which kind of answers the question as to why the survivors are going to the school. But the question is, why would the survivors try to find a FEMA camp after what happened at the CDC? Because their holding out hope that FEMA is still operational? Out of desperation?
It’s a great little tidbit of information if it is in fact true, it makes for great conversation, what do you think about the survivors trying to find FEMA?

Any information about extras casting?
I sent my headshot and resume to Extras Casting Atlanta, but haven’t heard anything…it’s been more than a month.
If anyone has contact information for the local production companies involved in hiring crew and/or extras, please let me know. Thanks.
you need to contact the show directly; this site is independent of the show.
