I know I’m late on this but if you don’t know or haven’t seen it yet, a new Walking Dead Season 2 Trailer was released at this years San Diego Comic-Con. It’s pretty much what we expected, the survivors have given up on Atlanta and we see presumambly the first of the freeway scenes. But to our suprise it seems like the T.V. show is going in a different direction from the comics by making Shane voluntarily leave the group which could definitely hint towards why we see Shane running away from a horde of zombies in the beginning of the trailer. Also, in an unusual twist, it seems like Andrea is going with Shane as the rest of the survivors seemingly fall apart group wise. There was also a snippet of the place where the Vatos are hiding which was great to see and the scenes on the freeway look awesome and should be a pivotal setting in the series and we get our first glimpse of Hershel’s Farm, Maggie (Lauren Cohen) and Hershel himself (Scott Wilson).
It should also be noted, regarding the time between the First and Second Season, Frank Darabont says that:
“It picks up with about 5 seconds in overlap with the end of Season 1, with them driving away from the CDC” said creator-exec producer Frank Darabont “There’s none of this bullshit 6-months-later stuff.”
Anyways, sometimes I really hate trailers, I mean their good but they make the wait that much longer….
