Detnews.com Interviews Steven Yeun

Detnews.com got a chance to sit down with actor Steven Yeun who plays Glenn on The Walking Dead.  In the interview, Yeun is asked the usual questions like what he thinks about a romantic relationship with Maggie, what if the writers killed Glenn off, etc.. But what’s more interesting is to learn that Steven Yeun worked at a Build-A-Bear Workshop.

What do you think about Glenn getting a girlfriend?

“Lauren (Cohan) is really cool. We’ve shot some stuff together and it’s been great. The Glenn I played before lived to serve and leave a mark on the world, even if that meant being a martyr. But now, I love the idea that someone who didn’t really have a lot to live for has so much more to live for, and it’s going to be awesome.”

Has anything changed with the cast now that “The Walking Dead” is a hit?

“If anything has changed, it’s our desire to make the show even better and take it much more seriously. We’ve got a lot of hard-working people, and that includes the writers. Everyone is working hard.”

What will you do if the writers kill off Glenn?

“It’s scary to possibly lose a job if your character dies, but all I know is if he dies, the way that he goes out will be awesome. Hopefully, they’ll do me justice and I’ll get another show.”
