Netflix Will Now Stream The Walking Dead Season One
It is now confirmed that Netflix has acquired the rights to stream The Walking Dead Season One on their streaming service. When asked about the acquisition Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos said that:
“We are delighted to be in business directly with AMC Networks. AMC’s programming sensibilities have struck a chord with our members and with the overall viewing public,”
Netflix has also acquired streaming rights for Breaking Bad and Mad Men. This acquisition also includes the Sundance programs’ All On The Line with Joe Zee and Girls Who Like Boys Who Like Boys.
This new deal also includes future seasons of The Walking Dead.
