Stephen King and Joe Hill off The Walking Dead?

According to Bleeding Cool, an inside source states that Stephen King and his son Joe Hill will not be penning an episode of The Walking Dead.  The reason? The departure of Frank Darabont.

There has been no official word on the validity of this report. However, Bleeding Cool points to a statement made by Stephen King to Entertainment weekly,

“Darabont] has expressed enthusiastic interest for season 2 or possibly 3” [In regards to writing an episode]

Only time will tell if the departure of Frank Darabont will have a negative consequences in bring in big name talent to write and direct The Walking Dead
