The recent episodes of ‘the walking dead’ suck! The dp should be kicked in the nuts for shooting the zombie attack scene at the high school with no light…this isn’t ‘Barry Lyndon’, light your action you schmuck. It’s not scary when you can’t even see what’s going on, it’s boring. Yea, i’m sure you say you want it all to look dark and eerie, but this is just bad camera work, find yourself some strong key lights and stop playing with yourself in the dark…that whole episode was rubbish on account of your crap camera work.

One of the clearest issues with this show is the severe lack of “walkers.” This hasn’t been an issue up until recently, the worst being the episode ‘Cherokee rose.’ What a waste of time that was, every little thing is being so strung out and stretched until it becomes unbearable…in a extremely boring way. It comes to the point where you don’t even care about the characters anymore, you just want to see zombies. But this is the issue, there aren’t any, for a zombie show there really doesn’t seem to be very many. In ‘Cherokee rose’ there was one! One zombie! And it wasn’t even a good zombie, it was some helpless bloated zombie in the bottom of a well…absolutely no threat at all, that is until they come up with the brilliant idea of sending the poor Asian kid down there via rope. Really? Are you guys satisfied with what you’re writing over there? This is what you get paid for? Silly nonsense.

I don’t get it, you guys have such an opportunity to create something great, which it was in the beginning, but you are BLOWING IT right now. This has become just another crap drama that is one line away from being a soap opera. GIVE ME MORE ZOMBIES! I know you’ve got them, put ‘em in! Because as of now I feel like this show is made for zombies, brainless humans who don’t care what is presented to them.

    absolutely loving this season!!
the most petrifying scene in all my zombie viewing history – when the group hid from the ‘herd’ amongst the car wrecks in S2 Ep1.. Not having seen the show for SO LONG left me more sensitive to the scene than i would have been had it happened once the show got back into the swing of things but my god – adrenalin levels through the roof!! BRILLIANT!!
that level of tension cannot be felt if they’re running from walkers every five seconds so i applaud your restraint TWD writers as you could really drown us in zombie overkill but instead its definitely quality over quantity, and you do have fans that APPRECIATE that :)
    darryl is a sweetheart ♥
most annoying character for me by far is andrea, obviously a great actress as i really cannot stand her right now.. any empathy, sympathy, sadness i felt when her sister amy died flew out the window of the CDC when they bombed it open!! lol
really love dale, he and carol are my fave characters.
i visited TWD site and learned the fate of all the characters further on in the comics – sooooo not happy!!
really hope the writers deviate from them and decide very different fates for many of these beautifully complex characters without looking back!!
oh and im sure we’ve aLL judged shane, but hey, could see that was coming and you know what? if its me or you, ima do the same damn thing!!
    ps GO GLENNNNNNNN :D :D

I agree with first guy even though he seems a little illiterate. Hopefully the third season will begin with the death of everybody and take up the story 3 months before with the black guy and his kid. Then a few episodes in they can crossmeet the current cast (right before they died) then continues on as a cool story.

I was a fan of the fast season of walking dead, thought it was up there with the first few seasons of True Blood however like True Blood I can watch this garbage while watching other channels and not miss a beat. If they drag out the scenes any longer they might as well kill off the remaining characters and have the entire world as zombies as they probably would have a better story line. I figured the Zombie’s must have been hung over from the Halloween Party last week because they have all disappeared and when you do see them why are they all bunched up like they are occupying wall street. Dont they have anywhere else to hang out instead of the high school what about Walmart. Walking Dead Season 2 bites unlike their Zombies

In real Bite Land, all group members would be trained and armed to the teeth including the kids. Lets make it real guys.

The show is getting so boring! .. I hate the country sheriff please kill him and his family off. Where is the u.s military!? And please I thought this was the walking dead. !! I’m falling asleep waiting for zombies and action.

I AGREE with everyone who says this season is BORING!!!! You guys are ruining a possibly great series by turning it into a drama show. The episodes are drawn out and pointless. I thought the first season was fantastic and couldnt wait for the next season. What a waste of time this new season is. I dont even want to watch anymore because its just stupid drama. Where are the ZOMBIES!!!

Lets have a stole in the woods full of Zombies and pick some daisies. The only for real Guy in the show is the one with the crossbow. Sorry about this, I was just told Walking dead is a comedy.

I will agree and say that I did enjoy Season 1 more and hope that S2 will pick up the pace. I don’t need zombies every five seconds, but the overall drama and storylines are playing way too slowly. The past 2 episodes were a drag and did not progress much. The zombie in the well plot was a bit ludacris. I haven’t read the comics so don’t have anything to compare it to, but reading comments from the comic fans makes me interested in seeing these stories play out. So please listen to your fans and let S3 have more excitement.

I have to agree. Why are you making this show a soap opera? Last season writers were much better. We need ACTION, MYSTERY, ADVENTURE, BATTLES…. a giant ZOMBIE WAR would be cool… I want the ZOMBIES to kill the cast at this point. =)

I too was a huge fan of the fast season of walking dead, but this season SUX. Are we already past episode 5? In the first season ever ep was a new trip to the city, or out, or to the CDC, now they went from the HWY to a ranch – That’s it. We have been looking for a lost girl for 5 episodes now, and 1-2 “Walkers” in a whole episode. The “Chupricobra Episode” (Spell?) we didn’t see a walker until 25mins in of a 43min episode. What a bunch of Crap!
I AGREE with everyone who says this season is boring and a drama show. I find myself fast-fowrarding through dialouge all the time to get to the good stuff, and then there is nothing there. The first season was awesome and now I also don’t want to watch anymore of the soap opera bs.

I can only echo the above boring remarks. Season 2 has turned into the Sophia show. We’re looking right at four episodes revolving around Sophia, the lost little girl. This seasons writers are also struggling to develop the characters under extreme conditions. Andrea for example is turning people away faster than a hord of zombies in a crowed theater. In the comics, Andrea is a decent character and turns into a sharp shooter. I’m excited for the introduction of Michonne’s character but they may have to down tone her. Michonne makes Sarah Conner and Alien’s Ripply look like Cocktail Waitresses. The show is really starting to drift away from the original material as well. The closer they stay follow the original content, the longer the show will last. So enough with the long drawn out filler episodes please?

Omg.. what have you done?? This season is unbearably boring.. It’s just drama and the characters are starting to get annoyingly boring and uninteresting.

    Everything Drewsky writes is true!
