The Walking Dead Rise Of The Governor Novel Gets A Deluxe Edition

If you haven’t picked up The Walking Dead Rise of The Governor Novel yet now is a better time than ever because the book will be getting a deluxe edition! The Rise of The Governor chronicles the back story of The Governor (a character from the comics) and was written by Robert Kirkman and Jay Bonansinga.

Robert Kirkman talked recently about the book and the extras:

“Many have asked me whether I will ever write a prequel about the lives the character lead before, well, that’s basically what we’re doing with these novels. And we wanted to offer the fans a special edition before the holidays.”

The deluxe edition book will feature a leather bound, slipcase hardcore with illustrations by Charlie Adlard. There will also be a more expensive version of the deluxe package. This version will be signed and numbered by Robert Kirkman.

The deluxe version will contain 336 pages with a suggested retail price of $74.99. The signed and numbered deluxe version has a suggested retail price of $124.99.

Both versions of The Walking Dead Rise of The Governor Deluxe Edition will hit store shelves on December 7th.
