Norman Reedus’ recently defeated Abed Nadir’s character from the TV show “Community” to win RedEye’s Best TV Character Tournament. So in response to his win Reedus thanked his fans.
“I just want to thank all the people who are voting and the people who are watching the show and helping it become such a big success. It’s all because of them, the fans,” he told me Wednesday from New York, adding humbly. “I would like to thank the cast and the writers and the producers of the show for giving me such interesting stuff to play with and interesting people to play with. The fans have been so key to keeping Daryl alive on the show, I’m eternally grateful.”
Also worth mentioning really quick is the fact that Reedus claims that he doesn’t watch television at all so he wasn’t familiar with his competition.
Lastly we have The Walking Dead New Years Eve Marathon. The marathon will begin with Season 1 Episode 1 “Days Gone Bye” at 11AM | 10C and will of course conclude with the Season 2 Mid Season Finale (Episode 7) “Pretty Much Dead Already” at Midnight | 11C.
