First Picture Of David Morrissey As The Governor
The first picture of David Morrissey as The Governor hit the internet today. The picture shows Morrissey standing in front of an SUV, looking very menacing. For the comic fans who are familiar with the character Robert Kirkman says not to worry Morrissey’s portrayal of the character will not be a watered down version of the comic character.
“The Governor in the show is definitely going to be The Governor in the comic, I think that he’s definitely going to be a character that people love to hate and are absolutely entertained by, but also somewhat terrified of. He’s definitely going to be a very important character and a very nuanced character. We are not going to be watering him down.”
The Governor played by David Morrissey will appear in Season 3 of The Walking Dead which is expected to premiere some time in October 2012.
