It should come as no surprise that The Walking Dead Season 3 Premiere last night broke basic cable records again! 10.9 million viewers tuned in to watch the premiere, making it the most watched basic cable drama ever. The 10.9 million viewers was a 50% increase over the Season 2 Premiere’s viewership total and the show also scored 7.9 million viewers in the 18-49 demographic.
Counting the actual premiere, and all of the encores last nights episode racked in 15.2 million viewers in total while The Talking Dead aftershow scored 2.1 million viewers which is a 85% increase in total viewers over that shows Season 2 debut.
