Hey I'm Chris, Im from Ireland. I only have been getting into comics from the last year so i only picked up TWD about 9 weeks go and have been complety hooked since. Really enjoy the podcast and am finally up to  date with them. Crongrats on the two interviews with Charlie Adlard and Robert Kirkman they were a pleasure to listen to. Keep up the good work!

My name's Chris and I'm 'fairly' new to the Walking Dead.  This summer I saw an issue at a friend's house so I asked him about it, since I'm into the both armageddon storylines (like The Road or the Fallout series) and zombies (Big fan of most zombie movies and am a L4D1/2 player).  Well he gave the comic a glowing review and I thought to myself, "For a comic to run this long, it has to have something going for it.   It might not be something I'm into, but there's something worth checking out.  Plus it's about zombies."

So I borrowed some of his books and proceeded to read every single issue to the current one in the span of about 3 days.  I was blown away by virtually every aspect: the art, the pacing of the story, the lack of explination (I hate exposition in postapocalyptic worlds.  So boring) and the survivalist mentality.  Added Kirkman's penchant to kill off nearly anyone at any time, it was exactly how I wanted a long running comic to be.  People just don't die at their most heroic momment, sometimes they die out of the blue.

So now I own all the books myself and have been getting a lot of my friends into reading them.  So now I have successfully cultured my own horde of Walking Dead fans to talk to on a weekly basis.

As for other comics I read, I'm a huge Batman fan.  Surpised?  I thought so!  And I used to be a huge Doug Tennapel fan but I've kind of had a falling out of his more recent books.  I'm mostly into the sciences, Geology being my main study.  I used to be a film major when I was younger and later switched to getting a BS in Geology.  I have many of the same hobbies more nerds do, but I also like to do outdoorsy stuff like hike and backpack.  I also got into carpentry and have built or refurbished/refinished a lot of the furnature in my house.

sup I'm Josh, or known as JBlueNote online on Twitter and many other websites. I've been starting to listen to the podcast after the beginning of Season 2 and haven't missed a beat. Over this mid-season break, I downloaded their episodes of season 1 and the break in between. I loved them just like I love the season 2 ones. Over Christmas break, I've been reading the comics and just finished a few weeks ago. I can't wait for both the new issue and new episode.
